composed surfaces + modals. Renders only the .odontogram-root wrapper around
children — no extra DOM node.
Holds its first render until the requested language has loaded: every UI
language but English is a lazily fetched chunk, and mounting before it
arrives would paint the whole chart in the English fallback and then repaint
it — a visible flash of the wrong language on every page load. English (and
any language already loaded) renders on the very first pass, as before.
